Hailing from the lively city of Des Moines, IA, Andrew Hoyt is the real deal—a singer/songwriter with roots deeply intertwined in the vibrant heart of the Midwest. He’s all about embracing his artistic side and isn’t afraid to let his creative juices flow. By the way, he’s also a rockstar K-5 vocal music teacher who’s on a mission to inspire the next generation.  A notable facet of Andrew’s musical journey centers around his partnership with the prestigious Hawaiian KoAloha ukulele. This instrument has become his signature.  Recently, Andrew has been signed by the distinguished indie label, Golden Bear Records.

Andersen Coates is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter from Des Moines, Iowa, creating thoughtful, contemporary folk rock in the vein of Tom Petty and John Mayer. Blending intelligent lyrics, gritty baritone vocals, and blues-soaked guitar, Andersen crafts a sound that is both unique and familiar, contemporary and classic.

Andersen spent his high school and college years developing his musical and songwriting chops, including a stint as lead guitarist for EllieMae – a 2019 contestant on NBC’s The Voice – and spots in Iowa State University’s jazz bands and combos. His ability as a guitarist was recognized with a first-place finish in Cedar Rapids’ Czech Village Youth Blues competition and guest appearances in several faculty recitals at Iowa State University. Writing songs regularly along the way, he additionally earned first-place awards at Iowa State’s “Cyclone Voice” and “CyFactor” competitions while headlining stages across the state.

Andersen’s debut EP “New Lands,” released in October 2023, is a strong collection of autobiographical and intelligent songs, seamlessly blending influences new and old. Demonstrating a mature and confident approach to songwriting, “New Lands” is sure to resonate with listeners across genres and set a strong pace for future releases.”
