The Forward Theatre Company of Madison, Wisconsin first performed this series of monologues written mostly by those in the area on the subject of banned books from various points of view. Banned books included range from “James and the Giant Peach” to “Lady Chatterley’s Lover”. Permission has been given for ISU students to include their monologues on the subject as well. This production opens on the Friday of National Banned Books Week.

September 29 and 30, October 6 and 7 at 7:30 p.m.; October 1 and 8 at 2 p.m. – Fisher Theater, Ames

Adults $18, seniors $16, students $11. Season tickets on sale beginning August 28, single tickets available beginning September 11 through the Iowa State Center Ticket Office in Stephens Auditorium and TicketMaster. Tickets are also available at the door.
