Please join us in welcoming the Okaidja Afroso trio to Ames at a reception on Sunday, February 16 at 7pm at Morning Bell Coffee Roasters at 111 Main Street, Suite 101-103 in Ames.
US-based Okaidja Afroso and his ensemble, musicians and dancers connected to the musical traditions of the African Diaspora, will tour to Ames, Iowa, instead of previously-scheduled Choor, musicians from the Inner Mongolia region of China. Okaidja Afroso’s trio will be in residency for the entire week and will work with schools and community groups as part of Arts Midwest’s World Fest.
