Children must be 6 years old by the audition date.

Please CAREFULLY review the rehearsal schedule when it is posted. You MUST attend the first rehearsal to be in The Nutcracker cast.
The order of tryouts within each time period may vary. All dancers should wear leotards, tights and ballet or pointed shoes. Dancers need to be dressed, warmed-up and ready to audition at the listed times.

Please download and complete the registration form before you arrive.

Additional forms will be available at the auditions, if necessary.

Parking

Park in Lot B-3 and enter through the Stage Door on the southeast side of Stephens Auditorium. In order to avoid accidents please do not drop off or park in the loading dock area.

Please note: If accepted into the 2012 Nutcracker Ballet, the first rehearsal will be held at the Ames Dancenter South: 319 South 17th Street, Ames, IA 50010; phone 515-233-3609

Cleaning & Care

In order to provide proper care & cleaning for costumes, there will be a $20 cleaning fee per performer to help maintain the costumes. Payment will be due by October 26 from all selected dancers. A late fee of $5 will be added after this date. Additional information will be provided at the auditions. Thank you for your understanding.
