Children must be 8 years old by the audition date
Please CAREFULLY review the rehearsal
schedule. You MUST attend the first rehearsal to be in The
Nutcracker cast.

The order of tryouts within each time period may vary.
All dancers should wear leotards, tights and ballet or pointe
shoes. Dancers need to be dressed, warmed-up and ready to audition at the listed times.
Registration will begin at 11:15 a.m. Please download
and complete the registration
form before you arrive. Additional forms will be
available at the auditions, if necessary.
Park in Lot B-3 and enter through the Stage Door on the southeast
side of Stephens Auditorium. In order to avoid accidents, please do not drop off or park in the loading
dock area.
If you or a friend are interested in being a behind the scenes
helper for this year’s Nutcracker, please let us know at the auditions.
Please note: If accepted into the 2007 Nutcracker Ballet, the first rehearsal will be
held at the Ames Dancenter South: 319 South 17th Street, Ames, IA 50010;

In order to provide proper care & cleaning for costumes, there will be a $15 cleaning fee per performer to help
maintain the costumes. Information will be provided at
the auditions. Thank you for your understanding.
