Waiting Lists
If you send in a registration for an event that is already sold out, you will be notified that your group has been placed on a waiting list. If seating becomes available, groups will be contacted by phone in the order in which their registration was received.

Refunds (Inclement Weather Policy)
Refunds are issued only if your school is closed or delayed due to inclement weather or if the event is cancelled. Refunds will not be issued due to student illness or absence.

Study Guides
Study guides are available for each Youth Matinee Series performance. They will be e-mailed to the contact name on the order form approximately six weeks before the performance. Hard copies will be mailed upon request. Study Guides and links to the producing theatre companies are listed on each event's web page.

Choosing performances
To assist you in choosing plays most appropriate for your students, we offer age recommendations that take into consideration a specific production’s performance style, length and subject matter. As a courtesy to the performers and the audience, we strongly recommend that children be at least three years old. Our plays can be enjoyed by children, teens and adults alike, but please remember: you are the best judge of your class/children’s ability to understand and appreciate a specific play. Everyone, regardless of age, must pay admission.

Accessibility
The Iowa State Center strives to make the arts accessible to everyone by accommodating those
with special needs. Please advise us of special needs prior to your visit so we are best prepared
to serve you. Please note: American Sign Language interpretation requires 30-day advance notice. The Iowa State Center thanks you for your understanding and cooperation with these arrangements.
