“I have found the Iowa State Center and the City of Ames to be ideal for our five-day annual conference and workshop for 50 small groups. Our event utilizes every building of the Iowa State Center complex; each facility offering a unique setting.
We also utilize the residence halls located directly across the street and the cafeteria. They provide an excellent opportunity for members to have housing and meals economically. The facilities areexcellent. But what has impressed me the most is the hospitality and the can-do attitude of the Iowa State Center staff. I appreciate their creative thinking as they help me complete tasks that other places would think to be impossible. The end result is a great meeting for my members. Additionally, my members appreciate the ‘safe atmosphere’ of Ames. They enjoy being able to jog on the running paths early in the morning or late evening after a long day of meetings or socialize on the green space at the Iowa State Center.
