Wedding Coordination
Our experienced event coordinators will help you in the planning and decision-making stages of your important occasion. With unmatched expertise, our coordinators can assist you in creating a beautiful atmosphere for your reception or rehearsal dinner with decorating suggestions, menu selection, and helpful hints for a smooth-flowing event. Our coordinators will be attentive to all the details during your event so you can relax and enjoy your special day.

• Space is available from 8 a.m. until midnight
• Room set-up and teardown, including the head table on risers, cake table,
guest book table and gift table
• White linen tablecloths, white skirting, and linen napkins
• Ample free parking
• Wireless microphone for announcements and toasts
• Skirted tables for DJ
• Recommendations on cakes, decorating, photographer and DJ
• Experienced and professional staff delivering excellent service

Bar Services
Bartender fees may be assessed depending upon volume. Additional security costs may
be required for receptions and dances where alcoholic beverages are served. Refer to page 18 of the Banquet Menu for a complete list of beverages, pricing and details.

Complimentary Taste Testing
After scheduling your reception or rehearsal dinner at the Iowa State Center, you
have the opportunity to taste the food ISU Dining has to offer. You may schedule an appointment during the early afternoon Monday-Friday for up to five people to taste up to five menu items.

Decorations and Equipment Rental
Decorations set the mood of any festive event. Decorating for your reception or rehearsal dinner can begin at 8 a.m. on the day of your event. Decorating must have prior approval by your event coordinator. Decorations need to be removed at the end of your event. The Iowa State Center staff is happy to assist you with any of your set-up or tear down needs.
