Metropolitan National Council Auditions

The auditions are a nationwide competition beginning at the National Council’s district level and culminating in the National Council Grand Finals Concert at The Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. Up to five equal winners will be chosen and awarded $15,000 each. Judges affiliated with the Metropolitan Opera hear all participating singers and offer direct feedback after each round of auditions. The experience has proven invaluable to many artists early in their careers.
